That $80 sleeping pad I bought on Amazon is a total piece of junk
I bought this inflatable sleeping pad off Amazon for $80 back in June, took it on a 3-night trip to the Smokies, and the seam blew out on the second night. Woke up at 2am flat on the ground in 45 degree weather. Tried patching it with the included kit, but the material is so thin the patch just peeled off. Ended up sleeping in the car the last night. I emailed the seller and they offered me $5 back. Has anyone found a semi cheap sleeping pad that actually holds air for more than one trip?

Holy crap, only $5 back?! That's insulting lol. They basically said "sorry about your ruined trip, here's enough for a gas station energy drink.

Cracked a smile at your $5 refund offer - that's basically a coupon for a single cup of coffee as an apology for freezing your butt off. I've been there with cheap gear failing at the worst possible moment, and let me tell you, waking up on the cold ground at 2am makes you question all your life choices. I bought a similarly priced pad from a different brand and the seam popped on the second night of a three-night trip, so I feel your pain. The problem is these thin materials just can't handle the pressure of a human body tossing around all night. I honestly just gave up on inflatable pads under $100 and now sleep on a thick foam mat that weighs a ton but at least I stay off the ground.
