My buddy Mike froze his butt off one night because he accidentally packed a summer liner instead of his down bag. He didn't realize until 3 AM and spent the rest of the night shivering in the car.

Read somewhere that a lot of those liner bags are basically just glorified bed sheets for summer camping. Mike probably learned that lesson the hard way real quick.
