Just crossed 100 nights in my cheap tent and it's still holding up
I bought this $50 Coleman tent off Amazon back in March 2022 just for a short trip. I kept using it for weekenders and then last summer I realized I had slept in it like 30 times already. This past weekend I hit exactly 100 nights out in it across different weather from rain to light snow. Has anyone else had a budget tent last way longer than you expected?

My Coleman tent from 2019 is at 87 nights and I feel the same way. I got it for $45 on a whim and figured it would fall apart after a season or two. Three years later the zipper still works and the poles haven't snapped once. I've had it in heavy wind that made the walls slap me in the face all night and it just kept standing. It's beat up and the floor has a few small holes I patched with duct tape but I don't care. These cheap tents are honestly tougher than people give them credit for.

Duct tape fixes everything. My old Sundome is still going strong too.
