Finally settled the hammock vs. tent debate for my solo trips... the hammock won after a rainy weekend in the Ozarks.

Oh man, a camping blog I read made a great point about this. They said a hammock with a proper rain fly keeps you off the wet ground completely. That's a game changer when the weather turns bad.
