Shoutout to the old Nikon F2 that finally pushed my repair count past 500

It came in with a seized advance lever and a shutter that sounded like gravel, but getting it ticking again (and quiet) was the one. I guess I never kept a real tally before. Has anyone else hit a personal number that snuck up on them?

Heard those titanium shutters can last forever if you keep them clean.

Remember the F2 has a titanium shutter, not gravel.

Okay but is the shutter material that big of a deal?
