Rant: That $60 'universal' shutter tester from eBay was a total bust

I got one last year thinking it would save me time on old SLRs, but the readings were all over the place compared to my old trusty Sekonic. Ended up wasting a whole afternoon recalibrating a Pentax K1000 for nothing. Anyone know a good budget tester that actually works right?

Wait, you PAID $60 for that thing? @jordanc32 is right, those cheap eBay testers are notorious for being completely unreliable, I would have demanded a refund the second I saw wonky numbers.

Yeah, tried that already. They never got back to me. Total waste of time.
