Hit 500 shutter repairs this week... never tracked that before

I just counted back through my logs and realized I've done exactly 503 shutter curtain replacements since 2019. Mostly on old Pentax Spotmatics and Nikons. Has anyone else kept running totals on specific repairs?

The 503 vs 500 thing is bugging me more than it should. I mean, maybe I'm weird but that level of detail feels almost like you're trying to impress your camera repair logbook or something. Guess I'll go back to my pile of broken Yashicas and stop counting.

Did you always track that kind of detailed count? I used to think logging every repair was unnecessary, but now I can see how it really helps spot patterns and plan ahead. Might have to start keeping my own numbers after seeing this.
