A tiny spring from a Leica M3 shutter flew across my bench today

I was working on a full CLA in my home shop, and the main tension spring shot out when I lifted the curtain assembly. It took me 45 minutes with a magnet and a headlamp to find it under my tool chest. Has anyone found a better way to secure those springs during disassembly?

Try putting the whole assembly inside a clear plastic bag.

Forget the bag, you're using a whole plastic bag for that?

and honestly, yeah i have done this before. the bag keeps the moisture in if you're trying to root something, plus it stops the soil from drying out too fast. you just gotta poke a couple tiny holes in it so the plant can still breathe, otherwise you'll end up with mold. i've killed a few cuttings that way lmao. works great for finicky stuff like calatheas though.
