Tried pocket screws vs dowels on a kitchen cabinet project

I finally ran my own test after 10 years in the shop and dowels won by a long shot for alignment. Used 50 cabinet doors with MDF cores and had zero blowouts with dowels compared to 7 with pocket screws. Anybody else switch methods after thinking one was better for years?

Laughing at all the pocket screw dust I'll never get out of my hair.

@samjohnson know what you mean. My wife found a dust bunny in the silverware drawer last week. Pocket screws are great and all but they leave a trail for days. At least we're not alone in the sawdust life.

I keep telling myself it adds character, but my wife just calls it sawdust camouflage.
