The old finisher in Cincinnati who showed me how he checked a door gap with a business card
Back when I was 19 and doing installs in Cincinnati, this finisher named Ray watched me fight a cabinet door for 20 minutes and then just slid a business card around the gap to show me where it was tight. He kept that card in his apron for 30 years and said he never once needed a feeler gauge. Does anyone else still use a card like that, or did you switch to something else?
