That one drawer that almost broke me

I spent 6 hours trying to fix a single drawer face that wouldn't close right. turns out the bottom panel swelled just enough from a tiny water leak and pushed everything out of square. Has anyone else had hidden moisture damage mess up a simple fix like that?

A buddy of mine @the_tessa had the same thing happen with a bathroom vanity last year.

My dad had the same thing happen with a kitchen cabinet back in 2018. He spent a whole weekend fighting with it before he found a tiny spot of rot in the corner from a slow drip under the sink. It was wild how just that little bit of moisture made the whole thing warp. Ended up having to replace the whole bottom panel and sand down the drawer face to make it fit right again.
