Switched to a 1/4 inch roundover bit for drawer fronts and it's a game changer

My drawer fronts used to feel sharp and cheap, but after trying a 1/4 inch roundover bit on the router table, they feel smooth and high-end. The whole change took about an hour to set up and test on some scrap oak. What's your favorite bit profile for softening edges without losing a modern look?

Try a chamfer bit for a clean, modern edge.

My buddy was finishing a walnut table and fought with a router for days. He kept getting tear-out on the corners. Someone finally told him to swap his round-over bit for a chamfer. The change was night and day. It gave him that sharp, angled look he wanted without the wood splintering. He said it made the whole piece feel more current.

Remember my dad's old oak desk with those rounded edges... hall.nina might be onto something.
