Serious question, I stopped gluing up miters with yellow glue and my joints actually got tighter
I built a maple vanity with mitered corners and used epoxy instead of the yellow glue I've used on every cabinet for 8 years, and the seams pulled so tight you can't feel the joint. I figured the longer open time would let the wood move on me, but the opposite happened because I could clamp slower and get it square. Anyone else switch adhesives for miters and see a real difference, or am I just fooling myself after one build?
