Saw a custom drawer setup at a local coffee shop that blew my mind
Stopped by that new place on 5th and Main last week, not really expecting much. But the barista pulled out this pull-out shelf behind the counter with all the syrups and lids perfectly nested. Custom birch ply dividers, soft close slides, everything spaced for the exact bottle sizes. Made me realize how much thought goes into those tiny spaces we usually ignore at home. Anyone else find themselves staring at commercial cabinetry instead of drinking their coffee?

Oh man, I actually saw something similar in a magazine article about restaurant design a while back. They talked about how those pull-out shelves save so much time for the staff, like seconds add up when you're making hundreds of drinks a day. It's wild how a simple layout can change the whole flow of a busy spot. I bet that coffee shop gets a ton of customers just because the behind-the-scenes stuff is so dialed in.
