Oh man, I had a guy once who wanted his entire kitchen island made from old shipping pallets.

And then I saw someone try to make a coffee table out of pallets and it literally fell apart after a week.

Told them no way, that stuff's full of chemicals. Got them to go with reclaimed barn wood instead. Looked way better and wasn't gonna give them splinters for life.
