Drawer slide spacing off by 1/8 inch, domino saved my install

Pulled a full bank of drawers yesterday in a kitchen remodel in Portland. Measured twice, still off by an 1/8 on the upper slides. Probably my hinge math. Rather than re-drill all the holes, I used a domino to shim the slides. Worked way better than I thought. Slides still smooth, no binding. Anyone else use dominos for shimming instead of plywood scraps?

The domino as a shim is actually genius cause you get that perfect 1/8 thickness without having to cut or sand a million little pieces. Ive done the plywood scrap trick before and its always 50/50 if it stays put while youre screwing the slide in. What I started doing is keeping a few dominos in my nail bag just for this, and if I need a bigger gap I stack two of em and glue the edges together. They compress way less than wood scraps too so you dont get that annoying sag a month later where the slide starts dropping.
