Unpopular opinion: "glazing" is overused and losing all meaning

I kept seeing people call every compliment "glazing" online last week, especially in gaming forums. Then my friend said I was glazing a new restaurant we tried, and I just laughed because the word means nothing concrete anymore. Does anyone else feel like some slang gets stretched so thin it just becomes noise?

Saw some YouTuber say that word eight times in one video.

That many repeats is basically a tic at that point, not just a habit. Wild guess, but I bet the algorithm actually rewards that kind of verbal pattern because it keeps viewer attention locked in. Nobody talks about how repeating words becomes a rhythm that makes people stop scrolling.

Wait wait, @lane.cameron said someone said it eight times in ONE video?? Okay yeah that's not even a pattern anymore, that's a full on verbal crutch or some weird brain glitch. Wild nobody ever brings up how the algorithm might literally be making people talk like that.
