Showerthought: The word 'ghosting' is already obsolete in Gen Alpha chat
I was helping my niece with her phone last weekend and she said someone 'iced' her instead of ghosted her. I looked it up on Urban Dictionary and apparently iced means the same thing but with a colder vibe (like literally leaving you on read forever). It blew my mind that a term from just 5 years ago is already outdated to kids. Has anyone else run into new slang that made you feel ancient?

Iced makes way more sense actually, never looked at it that way before.
