Remember when 'on fleek' was the big thing? I just heard a kid at the mall use it and it felt like a time capsule.
I was grabbing coffee last week and overheard a group of teens talking. One said her eyebrows were 'on fleek' and I almost did a double take. That term was everywhere like eight years ago, but I haven't heard it in real life for ages. It made me wonder what other old slang is quietly still kicking around. Have you heard any supposedly dead terms pop back up recently?

Honestly, "on fleek" coming back does feel like a time capsule.

Slang cycles are hardly breaking news.

Wait, "on fleek" is actually coming back? That one feels like it just left. The cycle is one thing, but that specific phrase had its moment and then some. It's wild to think a new group is picking it up like it's fresh. Makes you wonder what's next, "radical" or "tubular"? The speed of these comebacks is what gets me now.
