Rant: My 14-year-old nephew said 'skibidi' unironically and I froze
He was explaining a Roblox glitch and dropped it so casually that I had to ask him to repeat it, then he looked at me like I was the weird one, so has anyone else hit that moment where a word you thought was ironic is now just regular kid-speak?

You've officially crossed into the "cool uncle who's now just an old guy" territory, haven't you? In my experience, the best move is to just nod, ask them to explain it in plain English, and let them feel like the expert for a minute. They'll move on to the next slang in a few months anyway, so don't sweat it too much.
