PSA: People keep saying 'glazing' wrong and it's driving me nuts

I keep seeing folks use 'glazing' to just mean complimenting someone, but the original TikTok slang was about over-the-top, fake praise that feels slimy. It matters because we lose the specific shade of meaning, you know? How do you all use the term?

Totally agree, it's lost all its bite. Now it just means any compliment.

Exactly. It's been watered down to basically nothing. People just throw it around for any little thing now. The original meaning is completely gone.

Yeah troy832, it's like calling every soda a Coke now, the specific flavor is gone.
