People hate on it for being cringe, but I say it out loud to test if I'm being real. Sounds silly, but it works to keep compliments honest.

Honestly, it's the same reason I'll say something nice to my cat before I text it to a person. It forces a gut check. If it feels too dumb or fake saying it to an empty room, it was probably just noise for the algorithm. We're all getting too good at typing the right thing instead of the real thing.
