She redid her room based on online trends and now it's packed with junk. Calling it 'cluttercore' just justifies the mess instead of actual design. When did we start praising piles of stuff as a style?

Cluttercore isn't just piles of stuff though, it's about being surrounded by the things you love (even if it looks busy to others). Minimalist rooms can feel kinda cold and empty to a lot of people. For some, a space packed with collections and colors feels more cozy and personal. It's just a different way of liking your space, not a wrong one.
