Kept hearing 'SEO is dead' everywhere online
Ignored all that noise and just updated 12 old blog posts with better headers and actual keywords I found in Google Search Console, and my traffic went up 40% in 3 weeks, anyone else find basic fixes work better than chasing trends?

Some needed better headers, others just needed keywords that matched what people actually search for. I see a lot of folks jumping to the next shiny thing (like AI content or voice search optimization) when their old content is just sitting there with basic mistakes. Chasing trends usually wastes time unless you've already got the fundamentals locked in. That 40% bump came from fixing what was already there, not reinventing the wheel.
