I used to think 'ghost kitchen' was just a dumb buzzword until I ordered from one last night
I spent $24 on a burger and fries from a place called 'Burger Lab' on DoorDash that turned out to be just a shared kitchen space with three other brands. The food was cold and tasted exactly like the stuff from a chain down the street. Now I get why people say ghost kitchens are just a way to hide bad food behind trendy names. Has anyone else gotten tricked by one of these fake restaurants?

Is one bad DoorDash order really that big of a deal?

Oh come on @max_ross, you know one bad order is never just one bad order. It's the start of a whole domino effect of disappointment. That cold fries and soggy burger turns into you questioning your life choices while staring at the tracking app for 45 minutes. And then you gotta deal with the automated refund chatbot that asks if you're "satisfied with this resolution" when you definitely are not. One bad order is like one bad Tinder date - it's not the end of the world but it sure makes you rethink your priorities for a bit.

Man that timing is wild @annas87, last week I ordered from "Coastal Catch" and it was just a Dollar General heating up frozen fish sticks in the back. Makes you wonder if these ghost kitchens are even real restaurants or just someone's garage with a microwave.
