I used to hate the term 'gaslighting' until I saw it happen at work
I rolled my eyes every time someone online called their partner a gaslighter... figured it was just trendy relationship drama. Then my new manager at the pest control office told me I never submitted a report I absolutely emailed her on Thursday. She even showed me her empty inbox and said I was mixing up dates. I sat there second-guessing my whole memory for a solid hour before realizing she deleted the email on purpose. That moment made me understand the term isn't always overblown... sometimes it's a real, specific thing people do. Has anyone else had a buzzword click for them after a personal experience?

haha yeah @oliviagrant i thought the same thing at first! Then she did it with a voicemail too. I heard the beep on my end and everything but she claimed i never called. That's when i was like okay this is not an accident anymore.
