I called 'touch grass' the dumbest slang ever, then my nephew said it to me and I got it
Honestly I rolled my eyes at 'touch grass' for like two years straight, thought it was just something kids say to win arguments online. Then last week my nephew told me to touch grass after I spent 40 minutes arguing about a movie with a stranger in a comment section at 1am. I laughed, hung up, and realized I hadn't left my apartment in three days except to grab packages. Now I'm wondering how many other phrases I wrote off too fast just because they sounded annoying. What slang did you hate at first and then end up using yourself?
