Heard the phrase 'quiet quitting' at a coffee shop in Austin and finally got what it means

Some guy was explaining how he stopped doing extra tasks at his job without actually leaving, and now I'm realizing half my team has been doing this for months. Has anyone else noticed people using this term to describe stuff that's just normal boundaries?

Honestly thought quiet quitting was just lazy people making excuses but you're right it's just boundaries
