Heard a guy at a Tampa skate shop call a bad landing a 'yard sale' and now my whole group says it
I was at a shop on Fowler Ave back in March buying new bearings when this older skater kept saying 'full yard sale' every time someone ate it on the mini ramp. It spread through like 6 of us in one afternoon, and now we yell it at the park constantly. I looked it up after and it turns out surfers have used it for decades for wiping out and scattering your stuff everywhere. Does anyone know where this one actually started, or is it just a surf thing that leaked into skating?
