Got told "just use the TikTok search" for recipe ideas, what a joke
My cousin Sarah kept telling me to search TikTok for dinner recipes instead of Pinterest. I spent 45 minutes scrolling through 20 second videos that barely showed ingredients, and half of them were just people eating the food without saying how they made it. Ended up burning chicken parmesan because the video skipped the temp setting part. Has anyone else found better luck with YouTube for actual cooking tips?

Oh man, I mean TikTok recipes are a total gamble, YouTube is way better for actual directions.

God, 45 minutes of that nonsense sounds like pure torture. I feel for you. I tried TikTok recipes once and gave up after the third video where they just showed the finished dish with some annoying music. YouTube is a million times better because you actually see the full process and can pause it. I always search for specific channels now, like ones that show oven temps and cook times right on screen.
