Am I the only one who thinks 'delulu' is just the old word 'denial' with extra steps?
Honestly, I keep seeing 'delulu' pop up everywhere lately, and I get that it's fun to say, but it bugs me how people act like it's some brand new idea. My cousin in Tampa used it 14 times in one group chat about a guy who clearly was not into her, and I just wanted to say we already had a word for that. The slang keeps spreading because it sounds cute and soft, not because it means anything new. Does anyone else think some of these TikTok terms are just old words wearing a costume?
