Went to a local coffee shop downtown and saw something that bugged me about their pricing strategy

I grabbed a latte at Brew & Bean on 3rd Street last week and noticed their drip coffee is $3.50 but a pour-over is $6.00 for basically the same beans. Is that just a ripoff or do people really pay double for the show?

Wait, pour-over actually uses way more coffee grounds per cup than drip, that's why it costs more.

You're paying for the TIME it takes to stand there and watch them do it, not the coffee.
