Vent: Dropped $300 on a 'business credit building' service that did nothing

I saw an ad for a company that said they could help you build business credit fast. Paid them $300 upfront about six months ago. All they did was send me a generic PDF and a list of banks, which I could have found for free online. My business credit score hasn't moved a single point. Has anyone actually had a good experience with one of these services, or are they all just a waste of cash?
