Stopped at a gas station in Tulsa and the price difference between cash and credit was almost 50 cents a gallon
I was filling up my truck and saw the sign said $2.89 for cash but $3.39 if you used a card. That's a huge jump just to use plastic. Does anyone know if stations are allowed to charge that much extra, or is there a better way to pay?

Check the fine print on the pump itself. Some places advertise the cash price but the card price is only shown in small stickers. That's a massive difference they're trying to hide.

Yeah, that "massive difference they're trying to hide" is the whole game now. It feels like they put the cash price up on the big sign just to get you to pull in, counting on you not to see the tiny sticker. I've started looking at the total price per gallon on the pump screen before I even lift the nozzle. Sometimes that card fee is like an extra twenty cents, which adds up so fast.

Wait, 50 cents? That's insane, @josephbutler is right about them hiding it. I'd have to walk inside every time, what a pain.
