Reflecting on how buying stocks changed from phones to apps

I used to call my broker on a landline to make trades. It took time and was costly. Now, I use a simple app on my phone. Last month, I made a small investment that already went up. It's awesome to see how much easier it is to get started!

Kind of wild we went from paying fees to a guy in a suit to tapping a screen like it's a mobile game. Makes you wonder if treating the market like a casual hobby is such a smart move. Easy access doesn't always mean better choices. The whole thing starts to feel less like investing and more like another thing to scroll through.

It's lightning fast now.

Watch how fast people get educated though. Quick trades lead to quick mistakes, which forces a learning curve. Access makes the market a better teacher, not just a faster game.
