Pro tip: I thought a 0% APR card offer was a trap, but it saved my cash flow last quarter

I run a small landscaping business and needed about $8,000 for a new commercial mower in March. My bank's loan rate was high, and I saw a card offer for 0% APR for 18 months. I was sure the fine print would kill me with fees or a crazy rate later. I read the terms three times and called the issuer to confirm. The key was setting up a strict payment plan to pay it off in 15 months, well before the promo ended. I put every job's payment toward that card first. It let me keep my operating account healthy for payroll and fuel. I just made the final payment last week and paid zero interest. Has anyone else used a promo offer for a big equipment buy without getting burned?

Honestly, that sounds like a lot of stress for a mower.

It's funny how we expect simple things to handle complex jobs now. My old push mower from the 90s would have quit on the spot with half that load. Makes you wonder what else we're overcomplicating lately.
