My local coffee shop's new loyalty app finally got me to spend more
They switched from a paper punch card to a free app with points for every dollar, and my average order went from $4.50 to over $7 in two months. Anyone else see a small change that really boosted customer spending?

That free app probably makes you feel like you're not really spending money. Ever notice how much easier it is to add a pastry when the points are digital?
