Found it in a cybersecurity report from Verizon, and it made me rethink how much I spend on simple stuff like password managers and backups - is anyone else treating this as a serious line item in their budget or just crossing fingers?

Yeah those stats are scary but nobody talks about the free stuff like regular offline backups.

Regular offline backups aren't free if you count the cost of an external drive.

The free backup thing is smart but people forget you gotta actually test them too. Kind of like how we buy home security systems but never check if the batteries are dead until someone breaks in.
