I finally changed my mind about hiring a bookkeeper
For three years I did all my own small business books because I thought it saved money. Then last month I read a stat that said business owners who outsource bookkeeping grow 30% faster on average. That number hit me because I spend about 10 hours a month on invoices and receipts. I found that stat in a QuickBooks small business report. Has anyone else seen a real difference after hiring help?

Tbh did you notice a difference in how much time you had for actual business stuff after handing it off? That stat is legit though, I saw a bigger jump in my own revenue just from having more focused hours to work on selling.

Wait, wasn't that stat actually from a Sage report and not QuickBooks? I remember seeing it somewhere too but the fine print said Sage. Either way, I totally agree that cutting out those bookkeeping hours gave me way more time to actually sell and grow.

That 30% number caught my attention too and honestly it matches what I saw. I handed off my books six months ago and my revenue jumped about 25% because I was actually out talking to customers instead of staring at spreadsheets. Best decision I ever made for my business.
