Compared freelancing platforms finally after 3 months of testing
I tried Upwork and Fiverr side by side for a specific writing gig I do. Upwork gave me way more serious clients who actually read my profile first. Has anyone else noticed one platform just feels more professional for long term work?

Took me about a month to realize the same thing. Upwork clients usually send a clear brief and ask smart questions about my process before hiring. Fiverr felt like I was just another gig in a sea of cheap listings, getting messages like "can you write 5000 words for $5 please." It's the same pattern I see everywhere honestly - people who take time to find the right person tend to value the work more than folks just clicking the cheapest option.

Totally agree @murphy.linda quality always beats cheap clicks.

Started filtering for that specific stuff too. Clients who ask real questions before hiring definitely end up being way easier to work with.
