A guy at a Columbus trade show pointed at my pricing sheet and asked where my labor was
I was at a small business expo in Columbus back in March, mostly there to hand out cards and eat free pretzels. A guy running a print shop picked up my price sheet and asked how I came up with my numbers. I told him I just charged materials plus a bit on top. He laughed and asked where my own time went. I went home and added up my hours on a real job and found I was paying myself about $7 an hour. So I redid my sheet with a flat hourly rate of $45 built in. My first quote after that was $310 more than the old formula, and the client didn't even blink. Curious what hourly rate others here actually bake into their pricing.
