Why does every beginner bullet journal spread have to be a full watercolor masterpiece?
I spent 2 hours on a simple weekly layout last week while my coworker bragged about her 10-minute minimalist setup, and it made me realize people are missing the whole point of using the system for productivity instead of art.

Right? The pressure to make it pretty kills the whole point.

Came here to say exactly this. I spent like two hours last week trying to arrange some wildflowers in a "cute" way for a photo and just ended up shoving them in a mason jar and loving it way more. It's like we forgot flowers are already beautiful on their own without all the extra fuss.
