Tried to save space by cramming everything into one weekly spread. Regretted it by Wednesday.
Had a trip to Portland last month and thought I'd be clever. Squeezed 7 days into two pages with tiny boxes. Tuesday I had three appointments, a grocery list, and a work deadline all overlapping. Couldn't read half my own handwriting. Threw the whole thing out and started a fresh daily log. Anyone else tried compact layouts and had them backfire?

Yeah bullet journals don't scale down that well.

Wait, are you saying bullet journals actually get harder when you have less stuff to track? I always figured a simpler life would make the system even easier to run. Least now I know my chaotic notebook mess is actually a feature not a bug.
