TIL my bullet journal habit from 3 years ago is why I actually remember my grandma's recipes
Back in 2021 I started a tiny food journal in the back of my bullet journal, just one line a day about what I cooked. My grandma passed in March and I realized I had written down her dumpling recipe over 14 times without ever meaning to. Last Tuesday I flipped through those old pages and there it was, her exact note about adding cold water to the dough. Now I want to turn that section into a proper recipe collection but I don't know if I should keep it in the same notebook or start fresh. Has anyone here split their bujo into two separate books for something like this?
That is such a sweet thing to find in your old pages, like she left a little piece of herself in there for you. I lost my grandpa a couple years back and I wish I had half that much of his cooking written down somewhere. If it were me I would start a fresh book just for her recipes, since the bujo pages are already full and you would not have room to add your own notes next to hers.
