Are those fineliners really life changing or just a cheap thrill? I've had good luck with a $2 pack of ballpoints from the drugstore that last way longer and don't bleed through. But hey, if they make you happy and keep your habit going, that's all that matters.

Oh man, those fineliners were a total game changer for me too. I picked up a similar set on clearance for like $10 and honestly they made my journaling so much more fun. The colors are just so smooth and they glide way better than any ballpoint I've tried. I mean, yeah, ballpoints last forever but they just don't give that same crisp, clean look for doodles and headers. For the price, it's hard to beat. It's crazy how a little set of pens can reignite your whole habit.
