Shoutout to the random fact I found in my own journal from 3 years ago

I was flipping through an old bullet journal last night, looking for a recipe I'd jotted down, and I found a random note that said I'd checked my pens 47 times in one month. I had NO memory of tracking that, but there it was in the habit section. Turns out I was obsessively testing if my favorite gel pen was going to run out mid-entry. Has anyone else found weird stats in their old spreads that made you laugh?

Counting pen tests sounds way more productive than actually writing.

Is it really more productive though? Counting things feels more like busywork than actually writing. Writing is hard, sure, but at least you're making something. Pen tests are like checking your supplies instead of building the house. Don't you end up with a big list of tests and nothing to show for it?
