Shoutout to the person who suggested using a single pen for a whole month
I was getting overwhelmed by my 48-color set and switching pens constantly, so I forced myself to use only a black 0.5mm Pilot G2 for all of April, and it actually made me focus on the content instead of the colors.

Honestly, I could never do that (I'd get so bored). The colors are half the fun for me, even if it slows things down a bit.

That's a smart way to cut through the noise. Limiting myself to one notebook had the same effect, it just removed a whole layer of daily decisions. The simplicity really does help you get things done.
