Question about using washi tape as a divider in my bullet journal

I've been bullet journaling for about 4 years now, and I always struggled with making my monthly spreads look organized without spending hours on them. Last week I tried using washi tape strips as simple section dividers instead of drawing lines or boxes. It took me maybe 10 minutes to lay down three strips across the page for my tasks, events, and notes sections. Has anyone else found a quick trick that saves time but still looks decent?

I use a single strip of washi tape as a bookmark for my weekly spread...

...and now I'm noticing how many things in my life are held together by tape and good intentions. @paige86 has a point about the residue though, that's the real hidden cost of washi.

Honestly I gotta disagree with you on this one. Maybe it's just how my brain works but I need something that actually marks the page and stays put. Washi tape moves around too much and loses its stick after a few days. Plus it leaves that weird residue when you peel it off and then you've got gunk on your nice pages. I have to use a proper paperclip or one of those sticky tab things that's actually meant for bookmarks. Just feels like tape is asking for trouble with how much I flip back and forth through my planner.
