My cousin swore using a ruler for spreads would 'kill the vibe', but my freehand calendar looked like a toddler drew it.
I tried her advice for a month and my weekly logs were so messy I couldn't read my own tasks. Anyone have a good middle-ground method that isn't super rigid?

Try using a light pencil grid you can erase later.

Oh man, I feel that. My freehand lines look like a seismograph reading. @lilykelly's pencil grid idea is a solid middle ground, honestly. Lets you keep things neat without feeling like a strict art class.
