My bullet journal got me through a packed family visit without stress
My relatives came to town for a whole week last month. I put all the plans and meals in my bujo. Checking things off as we went kept me calm. I didn't forget a single thing they wanted to do. It was a relief to have it all written down.

My family visits usually involve at least three forgotten birthdays and a misplaced aunt. Your method of writing it all down sounds dangerously close to having your act together. I might need to borrow that idea before the next holiday chaos.

Seriously though, it's wild how the smallest bit of planning feels like cheating at life. I mean, I started just leaving a notepad by the fridge for grocery stuff and it accidentally fixed like half my daily stress. Now I see that same pattern everywhere, like just writing down one thing stops the whole domino effect of forgetting other stuff. My truck's dashboard is basically held together by sticky notes at this point.

Your sticky note system makes perfect sense to me. It’s funny how putting a thought on paper stops it from circling in your head all day. Do you think that works because it tricks your brain into letting go, or is it more about making a task feel official once it’s written down?
